Contenzo
Finding high-authority websites…
Last updated: 19 September 2026
Contenzo is a marketplace operated by Contenzo Ltd, 9 Kings Hall, Oldham, OL8 1DP, United Kingdom (“Contenzo”, “we”, “us”). It connects buyers who want content published and links placed with publishers who own websites and sell placements on them.
These terms form a contract between you and Contenzo. They apply whenever you use the site, hold an account, place an order or list a website. If you do not accept them, please do not use the marketplace. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data and forms part of these terms.
A Buyer is an account that orders placements. A Publisher (also called a seller) is an account that lists a website and fulfils orders on it. An Order is a single purchase of a service from a listing. Your Wallet is the balance held in your Contenzo account. Escrow means funds we hold on an order until it is approved or refunded.
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a contract. The information you give us must be accurate, and you must keep your password secure — activity under your account is treated as yours. Tell us immediately at team@contenzo.co.uk if you believe someone else has access to it.
Publisher accounts are reviewed before they can list, and each listing is reviewed before it appears. We may decline either without giving reasons. A website may be listed only once on the marketplace, and only by someone entitled to publish on it.
We provide the marketplace, hold funds in escrow and operate the dispute process. We are not the author of the content a buyer supplies, and we do not own or control the websites publishers list. We do not guarantee any search-engine outcome, ranking, traffic or commercial result from a placement.
Orders are paid from your wallet. Deposits are made by card through Stripe, our payment processor, and are credited when Stripe confirms the payment. A wallet is not a bank account, it earns no interest, and it is not protected as a deposit.
Money added to your wallet is credit for use on Contenzo, and is not refundable to your card. It has no expiry date, there is no minimum spend, and it can be put towards any listing on the marketplace at any time — but adding funds is a decision to spend them here, so please only top up what you intend to use. This is how we are able to hold order money in escrow and settle with publishers without holding a float against top-ups that may be pulled back.
If something has genuinely gone wrong — you were charged twice, you topped up the wrong account, or a payment went through that you did not intend — write to us at team@contenzo.co.uk and we will look at it. We deal with those case by case; there is no self-service refund, and we do not return unspent balances simply because they have gone unused.
None of this affects any right you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded by agreement.
If you believe a payment is wrong, contact us first. Raising a chargeback or card dispute for a payment you authorised — particularly after the funds have been spent on an order — is a breach of these terms.
Where a chargeback or card refund removes money we have already credited, we reverse the corresponding amount from your wallet, which may leave it negative. We may also suspend the account, cancel orders funded by that payment, recover the amount owed including any fee the card scheme charges us, and supply evidence of your use of the marketplace to the card issuer.
When you place an order the amount leaves your wallet immediately and is held in escrow. The publisher then has a limited window to accept it; if they do not, the order is cancelled and the amount returns to your wallet.
The publisher prepares the placement within the turnaround time shown on the listing and submits the live URL. You then review it. If something is wrong — a missing link, the wrong anchor, a different page — you may request an improvement with specifics, and the publisher may correct it. Funds are released to the publisher once you approve the placement, or once the review period shown on the order has passed without a response.
Escrow protects both sides: before publication the money is out of your wallet but not in the publisher’s hands, and while a dispute is open neither side can take it.
An order may be cancelled, and the amount returned to your wallet, at any time before the publisher has started work. Once an article has been written or published it cannot be cancelled on demand; use the improvement and dispute process instead.
If a placement is never delivered, or is removed within the period covered by our guarantee, the order is refunded in full — as credit returned to your wallet, where it can be spent on any other listing. Order refunds are always made to the wallet and never back to a card, for the reason set out in section 5.
Because a placement is content produced for you and published on your instruction, the statutory right to cancel a digital services contract ends once work has begun with your agreement.
You confirm that you own, or have permission to use, everything you supply — the article, images, anchor text and destination URLs — and that publishing it will not infringe anyone’s rights or break the law. You are responsible for the site you are linking to.
Restricted content — gambling, casino, adult and similar — may only be ordered from publishers who accept it. Our system checks orders for it automatically and prices them at the publisher’s own rate. Disguising restricted content, whether by wording or by a redirect, is a breach of these terms and the order may be cancelled without refund.
Illegal material, malware, phishing, content that sexualises minors, and content that infringes copyright or a trade mark are never permitted.
You confirm that you control the website you list, that its metrics and traffic figures are truthful, and that the sample posts you submit are genuinely published on it. Listings built on false metrics, expired domains presented as established sites, or networks created solely to sell links may be removed and the account closed.
Placements must be published on the agreed website, stay live and indexable for at least the period covered by our guarantee, and use the link type stated on the listing. Do not add a noindex or nofollow attribute to a placement sold as dofollow, move it to another domain, or take payment and then remove the link.
You are responsible for any tax due on what you earn, and for the accuracy of the payout details you give us.
Buyers pay the price shown on the listing. Contenzo’s commission is deducted from the publisher’s side rather than added to the buyer’s price; the current rate and the minimum withdrawal are shown in your dashboard and on our pricing page.
After a buyer approves an order, the publisher’s earnings enter a clearing period of 21 days before they can be withdrawn. This protects both sides against a placement being removed immediately after payout, and against a card payment being reversed after the work is done.
Cleared earnings are withdrawn to the PayPal address on your account, once the balance is above the minimum. We may hold a payout while an order it relates to is disputed, while we verify an account, or where we are required to.
If a buyer and a publisher cannot resolve an order between them, either may raise it with us. We will look at the order, the placement and the messages, and decide whether to release the funds, refund them, or split them. Our decision on the release of escrowed funds is final as between the parties, though it does not affect any right you have to pursue the other party yourself.
We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, that we reasonably believe is being used fraudulently, or where we are required to by law. Where fairly possible we will tell you why.
You can delete your own account from your profile page. We cannot delete an account while it holds a balance or has orders in progress: withdraw or spend the balance and let open orders finish first. Records of completed orders and payments are kept where we need them for accounting, tax and fraud prevention, and are separated from your personal profile — see the Privacy Policy.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.
Subject to that, we are not liable for loss of profit, loss of rankings, loss of traffic, loss of business or any indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim arose.
The marketplace is provided as it is. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and third-party metrics shown on listings (such as Domain Authority or Domain Rating) come from external providers and are indicative only.
You agree to cover any claim, loss or cost we incur because of content you supplied, a website you listed, or your breach of these terms.
We may update these terms as the marketplace changes. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and material changes will be notified by email or in your dashboard. Continuing to use the marketplace after a change means you accept the updated terms; orders already placed remain under the terms in force when they were placed.
These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the UK, you may also bring proceedings in your own jurisdiction.
